Statuses of views |
Scroll |
At any moment of the work at the drawing, you can enable or disable editing any views, as well as enable or disable their display. To that end, the status of a view needs to be set up.
The status of a view is determined by the values of the following properties:
•activity – controls availability of a view and objects in it for editing and takes the two values:
•
active — objects of this type can be edited and deleted; it is possible to change the parameters of the type, including its position in the drawing;
•
background — objects of the view are inaccessible for editing and deletion; if enabled snap If the link to the objects of background layers is established, then you can snap to the objects of background views; changing the view parameters and its movement is not possible.
•visibility – controls the display of objects of a view in the graphic region of the document and takes the two values:
•
visible — objects of the view are displayed in the graphical area, with active views shown in the colors selected for them, and background – with a set style;
•
Hidden — objects of the view are not displayed in the graphic area regardless of whether it is active or background (only the view's bounding frame is visible); thus, the hidden view is completely unavailable for any operations.
The activity and visibility of views are shown in the Drawing tree with respective icons.
The style (type, thickness and color of lines) used to display objects of background views and frames of views can be set in the dialog for setting up the draw of views (see section Views). In the same dialog, you can disable the show of frames of views.
The color with which the active view is displayed can be set in the Parameter Panel during its creation or editing. This color will be used when the view is not current.
