Setting up print filters is performed in the Print Filter Settingsdialog. This dialog appears on the screen in the normal operating mode with KOMPAS-3D after calling the Settings — Parameters... — System — Print — Print Filters command.
Controls of the dialog allow to specify the document objects to be printed.

All objects |
The option allows to enable/disable printing of all document objects contained in the list of the dialog. It may be in one of three states: •enabled •undefined •disabled If the state of the option is undefined, a click on the option will disable it, a second click will enable it. |

Display the text with a frame. |
Enabling the option means that instead of the text in the document its dimensional frame will be printed. |

Display raster objects with frames |
Enabling the option means that instead of bitmap objects in the document their dimensional frames will be printed. |

Display OLE objects with frames |
Enabling the option means that outline boxes will be printed in a document instead of OLE objects in the document, their boundary frames will be printed. |

Apply filters to macro elements and insert views and fragments |
The option allows to control use of filters to the objects which are part of macro-elements and to the inserted views and fragments. If the option is enabled, filters will be applied to these objects. If the option is disabled, these objects will not be regarded as independent items to be filtered. |

List of elements of the graphic document |
The list contains names of elements of the document and their groups. To open the list of a group, click the "+" sign to the left of its name. You can change a set of objects for printing, enabling and disabling the respective options in the list. |

Do not Use Filters |
The option allows to cancel use of filters and to print all objects. |
— all the options in the list are enabled (all document objects will be printed),
— the list contains both enabled and disabled options (objects with enabled options 
– all options in the list are disabled (To activate the generated filters and close the dialog, press the OK button. To close the dialog without saving changes click Cancel.

The dialog similar to the aforesaid can be fetched while running in the print preview mode and also from print setup dialogs and special print setup dialogs. The filters set in the print preview mode or in the print setup dialogs do not affect the system setting of the output filters. |
