Copying certain operations has specific features. They are described below.

In addition, there are operations that Cannot be copied with array construction commands.

Chamfer, Fillet

The operation Incision or Rounding can be copied either along with the object on whose edges it is constructed, or without it, if the model already contains edges to which the chamfer (fillet) needs to be copied. In this case, the edges and the copied chamfer (fillet) should belong to the same solid.

Copied chamfer (fillet) is not displayed on phantoms of array instances.

Rib

An array of ribs is created correctly when each copy of the edge is adjacent to the faces of the same solid that the copied edge is adjacent to.

Cosmetic Thread

A cosmetic thread can only be copied with the object on which the thread is built.

If a cosmetic thread is limited by a face of an element and this element is also copied, then the copied face will be the border of the copied thread. Otherwise, the copied thread will be limited by the same face as the source thread.

A cosmetic thread which is part of a hole is automatically copied with this hole, see below.

Hole, Hole in Sheet Solid

A hole with subordinate objects — an axis and/or a thread (only an axis for a hole in sheet solid) is considered to be a single object when building an array. Therefore, to select a hole you can specify its edge, face or vertex but also an axis or a thread.

All instances of the array have the same subordinate objects as the source element. If required, you can disable display of axes and/or threads in particular instances using the icon in the Model Tree.

All the thread variables are available in instances of the array of threaded holes; due to this, the thread parameters can be For each instance, set the (in case of a standard thread, only the length variable is available for change, while the others are not, because they are used for info purpose).

The thread and the axis are not copied when you create a geometrical array holes.

Stamping elements in a sheet solid:
Dimple/Open Pressing, Beat, Louver, Strengthening Edge

To enable correct building of an array of die formed elements, copies should be located on the same sheet solid which the source object belongs to.

When creating an array you can control correct building of instances using a phantom. If you are not satisfied with the copying result, change the array parameters or delete unnecessary instances.

If the contour of the created copy of a die form, beat or louver is outside the face of the sheet solid, the instance will be cropped by the plane(s) of the respective end face.

Creating an array of Sheet Solid operation may cause a solid consisting of separate parts to appear. For a solid that consists of separate parts it is impossible to construct new bends and alter the state of existing ones, to close corners on bends as well as to create holes and cutouts with By thickness method.

Operations that cannot be copied

Shell,

Slope,

Section,

Full fillet,

elements of a sheet solid: Bend, Bend by Line, Bend by Sketch, Incision, Shell Ring, Ruled Shell Ring, Cap corners, Unfold and Fold.

If the model should contain several identical non-copyable operations, they must be executed in this model the corresponding number of times.

The Slope operation does not create new faces but only modifies the existing ones. Therefore, to copy an element with a slope you can use a geometrical array, as it creates copies of the edges of the initial elements.
