Editing projection designations |

The capabilities of editing projection designations are restricted by the presence of a link to the model.
Editing parameters
To edit the parameters of a projection designation, double-click on it with the mouse.
The same controls for configuring object parameters will appear on the Parameter Toolbar as when creating normal objects of the corresponding type in the drawing.
The speciality of editing a projection designation is as follows: those parameters whose values are transferred into the drawing from the model are unavailable for editing. The other parameters are available, and you can change them arbitrarily. The changes made are stored in the drawing and do not change when the drawing is rebuilt.
Editing using the defining points
When you select a projection designation with a mouse click, the defining points of the designation are displayed in the graphic area. Moving these points with the mouse, you can edit the configuration of a projection designation.
For example, using the defining points you can reposition the dimension line of the projection dimension or reposition the landing start point of the projection leader.

When you edit projection designations of the base, surface finishes, geometric tolerances, marking, stamping, positions, leaders, captions and tables using defining points, you can also move their snap points (see Table Snap points of dimensions and designations). If the position of the snap point of the designation in the drawing was edited manually, then further changes in the position of the snap point of the designation made in the model are not passed into the drawing. |
