Centerlines and axial lines in associative views |
Scroll |
Centerlines, linear and round grids of centers, as well as center marks can be formed in the associative view automatically based on the analysis of the shape of the model projected to the view. For example, a center mark can be added to the cylinder projection to a plane perpendicular to its axis, or an centerline — to the projection to a plane parallel to the axis.
In order to specify which types of designations should be generated in the created view, during the setup of the view parameters in the Objects section of the Parameters Panel, enable the necessary options in the Create — Designations in Drawing list. More details about the settings...
The centerlines, center grids, and center marks created automatically are associated with their base objects. Therefore, they will be rebuilt according to the changes made in objects when the drawing is updated.

For the Leader Element view, setting to create design elements are not available. The same detailing elements (or their parts) as contained in the reference view will be created in this view. |
The source model may contain centerlines objects. When you create a view or configure its settings, you can Enable the transfer of these centerlines to the view. If an object-centerline is created in the model for the revolution surface and transfer of centerlines to the view is enabled, the centerline will not be automatically created for the projection of this surface. The view contains only one centerline transferred from the model.

For all automatically created centerlines and grids of centers as well as centerlines transferred from the model, the Automatic Creation property has Yes value. |
