Leader Element |
Scroll |
To create a view of leader element, you need a different view and the leader element designation in it. A copy of the existing model projection will be created in a new view and it will be bounded by the contour in the leader element designation. Thus, the result of constructing the view of the leader element depends in which view the leader element designation is located.
|
The view to which the designation should belong is determined automatically based on the position of the created leader element designation relative to the associative views available in the drawing. If this view is not current, it becomes current and the designation is included in it. Please note that if the drawing views are overlaid, the view for the designation may be defined incorrectly. |
Step-by-step instructions
1.Create a leader element designation using the Leader Elementcommand.
After setting the leader element designation in the associative view, the command to create an leader element will start automatically.
If the required view of the drawing already has a leader element designation, invoke the Enlarged Detail
command and specify the leader element designation.
After you specify the leader element designation, a phantom of the outline frame of the view is displayed in the graphic area, and the elements for setting its parameters – on the Parameter Panel.
2.Set the name and number of the view using the respective fields. The number of the view can be any number other than the numbers of already existing views.
3.Set the scale of the view and the color of its display. Details...
4.Configure the rendering of view lines. Details...
5.If the view is to be rotated, enter the value of angle into the Rotation angle field.
6.Select the point which will be used as the datum point of a view. To that end, in the View Base Point group, click one of the following buttons:
Center of bounding rectangle or contour,
View Origins.
7.Set the snap point of the view. To that end, specify the position of point in the graphic area using the mouse, or enter its coordinates in the Snap point field of the Coordinates group on the Parameter Panel.
Creation of the view will be completed. In the area region, there appears an image of the view, and in the Drawing tree – its icon and the name.
