Result of solid mirroring operation |

When constructing a mirrored array of solids you can choose what the result of operation will be. To do this, use Result button group in Array Parameters section of Parameter Panel.
To select operation result, press one of the following buttons.
Union — the mirrored copy is merged with the source solid if they intersect or have a common surface. Otherwise mirrored copy is created as a separate solid. If after editing the model the source solid and its mirrored copy will intersect, they will be merged into a single solid.
The new solid — the mirrored copy is being created as a separate solid irrespective of whether it intersects with the source solid or not.

It is impossible to select the operation result when during array construction the deletion of source solid is enabled, that is, Delete Source Objects toggle switch is in the I (enabled) position. In this case group of buttons Result is not displayed on Parameter Panel. Mirrored copy is created as a new solid. |
