An insertion is a type of graphic document object designed to display an image from another graphic document within the current document.
Master document — the document that contains the insertion.
Source of insertion – the document where the inserted image was created and is stored.
Master view — view of the master drawing that contains an insertion of a view from another drawing.
Source view — view of the source drawing that contains an image inserted into the master view.
Insertion instance — an insertion with an image from a specific source. A document can contain several instances of the same insertion, that is, several images inserted from the same view or fragment. The instances may have different insertion parameters.
Embedded insertion — an insertion present in the source of this insertion.
