In graphic documents of KOMPAS-3D, you can insert images created earlier.

•In fragments, you can only insert images located in other fragments.

•In drawings, you can only insert images located in other fragments or in views other drawings.

If you frequently insert fragments into graphic documents, it may be convenient to use Libraries of Elements.

Several methods of insertion are available. Methods of insertion.

An insertion may be complemented by leader lines, which become its part. This object is processed by the system as a single entity: it is selected, moved and deleted as a whole.

You can get information about the source file of the inserted view or fragment. To do this, select the insertion and invoke from the context menu the Source Information... command. After the command is run, the Document Information Dialogwhich contains general information about the source document (author, comment, creation date, etc.), lists external files associated with the document, and types of attributes assigned to the document as a whole.
