Parameters of the lateral sides of the bend and its extension are set in the Lateral Sides section. The section is not present on the Parameters bar if you build a bend with corners capping.
You can specify the parameters for every lateral side using one of the following methods:
•Slope and angle sets the angle on the bend and/or the slope of lateral sides of the bend extension,
•Bend widening changes the bend extension width.
The required option for every lateral side is selected using the Method group of buttons located in the Left Lateral Side and Right Lateral Side groups of elements.
Slope angles of lateral sides of the bend extension are set in the fields Left Slope and Right Slope.
Angles on the bend are set in the Angle on Left Bend and Angle on Right Bend fields.
Follow the rules to specify the slope angle of the bend lateral side and the angle on the bend:
•angles are measured on the unfolded bend,
•angles are calculated from the plane perpendicular to the edge along which the bend is located,
•angles may take values from -90° to +90°,
•the positive angles are plotted inward in relation to the sheet solid, and the negative angles – outward.

If the angle on the bend is not zero, the relevant side face of the folded bend is not flattened. |

Bend extension expansion — a change in the width of the bend continuation compared to the width of the bend.
Values for bend extension expansions are entered in the fields Left Expansion and Right Expansion. The widening value can be negative, positive, or zero. The negative widening means reduction of the bend extension width, the positive widening – increase of the bend extension width, and zero widening – no width change.
