Changing the macro-element composition

The composition of a three-dimensional macro-element can be changed by dragging objects with the mouse in the Design Tree. Objects can be moved one by one or in a group.

To add an object to a macro-element, drag the object icon onto the macro-element icon in the Design Tree. To do this, move the cursor to the desired icon, click the left mouse button, and move the cursor over the macro-element line without releasing the button.
To add several objects to a macro-element, select them in the Design Tree by clicking on them while holding down the <Ctrl> or <Shift> key. Move the cursor to any of the selected objects, press the left mouth button and without releasing it, move the cursor to the macro-element row.

As you move, the cursor takes the form of a four-headed arrow . When adding multiple objects to a macro-element, their count is displayed next to the cursor.

When the macro-element line is highlighted, and its icon turns into , release the mouse button.

The object(s) will be added to the selected macro-element. If the object was located in the Design Tree above the macro-element, then the position of the macro-element after adding this object will not change. Otherwise, the macro-element moves in the Design Tree to the place of the added object.

To exclude an object(s) from a macro-element,  show composition mode for macro-element has to be included.
Expand the contents of the macro-element and drag the icon of one object or several selected objects to the desired location in the Tree outside the macro-element. When the position of the object is reached, release the mouse button. The object will be excluded from the macro-element. The object icon will be located at the specified location in the Design Tree and will be marked with the  icon.

To update the image, call the Rearrange command on the Quick Access Toolbar or press the <F5> key.

Using the mouse you can also move objects between macro-elements.
