If the Brief option is enabled on the Parameter Panel, the Information window displays the main data about the specified object. They include:
•Number of measurement.
•Name of object.
•Object type. Information about the object type is taken from the mathematical description of the object. For example:
•edge types straight line, circular arc, spline, etc.;
•facet or surface types flat, toroidal, ruled surface, spline surface, etc.
Some objects, such as a point or an operation, have no type.
•Object numeric parameters. The set of parameters depends on the object, for example:
•for objects representing a kind of curve (edge, 3D lines, sketch line, etc.), the length is determined,
•for cylindrical, spherical and round objects (rounding surface, edges and contours in the form of circles/circular arcs, etc.) the radius and diameter are determined,
•coordinates are displayed for points,
•for flat faces, coordinates of the normal vector are displayed.
For the standard thread, a designation is displayed; for the non-standard thread, the rated diameter and pitch are shown. In the case of left-hand thread direction, the symbols LH are added.
For all objects that have variables, the names and values of these variables are displayed.
For parts and assemblies, values of certain ones are displayed: system properties (file name, creation date, etc.) and the number of operations; for assemblies, general information about the number of first-level components and matings is also provided. First level components — parts and subassemblies directly included in the current assembly. Components included in subassemblies (as well as in their subassemblies and so on) are not first level components for the current model.
