Current Coordinate System. Selection of the Current Coordinate System |
Scroll |
Only one coordinate system of the model can be current at the given moment.
Before the name of the current coordinate system in the Design Tree, the
icon is displayed.
If the LCS is the current one, it is displayed in the graphic area of the model in colors specified for its elements. Other LCS are displayed in gray.
The absolute coordinate system of the model is displayed colored regardless of whether it is current or not.
To assign the "current" status to the coordinate system (local or absolute), run the Current CS command from its context menu in the Design Tree. You will see a tick mark next to the command name in the menu.
•If the LCS is assigned as the current one, the Current CS command in its context menu remains available. If you call the command again, the "current" status will be removed from the LCS; a tick next to the name of the command disappears; and the absolute coordinate system becomes the current one.
•If the absolute coordinate system is assigned as the current one, the Current CS command in its context menu is not available.

If the when configuring LCS the When creating an LCS, assign it to the current CS option is enabled, then each new LCS automatically receives the "current" status. |
