You can select the default methods of working with the LCS (local coordinate systems, see section Local coordinate systemsFor configuration, use the dialog called with the LCS. The dialog appears on the screen after calling the command Settings — Parameters... — System — Model Editor — LCS. The description of options contained in the dialog is provided in table Controls of the dialog for setting up the LCS. By default, the options are enabled.

When creating LCS assign it as current CS |
•If the option is enabled, then the "current" status is automatically assigned to the new LCS. •If the option is disabled, then after creation of a new LCS the current remains the LCS which was there prior to creation. Regardless of the state of this option, the user can make any of the coordinate systems available in model current (see section Current Coordinate System. Selection of the Current Coordinate System). |

Create LCS only in absolute CS |
•If this option is enabled, then during creation of all new LCS their parameters are set relative to the global coordinate system of a model (see section Absolute Coordinate System). •If this option is disabled, then the parameters of a new LCS are set relative to the CS which is current at the given moment. Therefore, a hierarchy of LCS in the model can be created. |
Having completed the setup, click OK. To close dialog without change to the setting, click Cancel.
