Configuring the creation of objects and variables in dependent versions and variants The model is executed in the dialog box Versions and Variants. The dialog appears on the screen after calling the Settings — Parameters... System — Model editor — Versions and variants command. The description of options contained in the dialog is provided in table Controls of the dialog for setting up designing of objects and variables. By default, the options are enabled.

Create an object in dependent versions and variants |
If the option is enabled, then during creation of a new object in the initial version, an identical object is created in all of its dependent versions and variants. If the option is disabled, then a new object is not created in the dependent versions and variants. In an assembly, the option also applies to adding components to the dependent versions and variants that are identical to those added to the original version. |

Create a variable in dependent versions and variants |
If the option is enabled, then during the creation of a new user variable in the original version, an identical user variable is created in all of its dependent versions and variants. If the option is disabled, then a new user variable is not created in dependent versions and variants. |
Having completed the setup, click OK. To close dialog without change to the setting, click Cancel.
