The Tool area is an area containing toolbars with buttons to invoke the respective commands. It is located in the upper part of the KOMPAS-3D window, below the row with the document tab headers (see... Figure). In the left part of the Tool area is the list of toolbar sets, while the remaining part is occupied by the panels of the current set.
Each set has several toolbars whose commands are intended for solving particular tasks. In the documents of different types, the sets are different. For example, during creation of models there is a set of toolbars for solid modeling, for Sheet modeling, for using sketches, and others.
To change the current set, select the required row in the list of sets. The list also contains sets of toolbars to run commands linked to KOMPAS-3D applications.
