Creating multiple breaks in the view

Scroll

After invoking a command to create a break, the first break will be automatically generated in the current view. Its name is contained in the Breaks field on the Parameter Panel.

If you need to have multiple breaks, add the required number of breaks using the Add button, located next to the Breaks field. Names of new breaks will be added into the field, and in the graphic region of the drawing, the lines of their borders will appear.

Tuning of the parameters is performed separately for each break.

The values displayed on the Parameter Panel at the current moment are related to the current break, i.e. to the break selected in the Breaks field. In the graphic area, on the lines of borders of the current break, defining points are displayed.

To configure the parameters of a required break, select its name in the Breaks field, then change the parameters and position of the borders. These actions are described in the section Creating a break.

To delete the current break from a view, press the Delete button next to the Breaks field.

Specialities of setting a slope angle for break lines

Breaks of the same view can only be parallel or perpendicular to one another, i.e. If there are several breaks in a view the slope angles of their borders may be either equal or differ by 90°.

When adding a new break to the view, the value of angle set for the previous break in the list is automatically passed into its parameters. If necessary, you can change the angle by setting a value that differs by 90°. Entry of any other value is not fixed in the Angle field.

If you want all the breaks in the view to be positioned at a certain angle relative to the OY axis, set a slope angle of the first break before all the others are created.
