Objects excluded from calculation are not shown in the graphic area. They are still displayed in the Design Tree but their names and icons become grey.

Each excluded object is displayed in the Design Tree with a special icon showing that the object is excluded from calculation: , or . The icon appearance is determined by the method used to manage the object state (methods are described below).

When excluding an element of a solid or surface (a hole, a chamfer, a fillet, etc.) from calculation, note the following features. The position of the excluded element in the Design Tree depends on the Tree appearance.

If the Tree is a Model Design History, then the excluded element will remain in its original place.

If the Tree is represented as a model structure, then the excluded element is transferred to the group Excluded from calculation , located in the lower part of the Tree. This group is available in the Tree if at least one element of a solid or surface is excluded.
The excluded element can be represented by the entire solid or surface, for example, Extrusion element, Revolution surface, etc. In this case, the element is transferred to the Excluded from calculations group, and the solid/surface containing it ceases to be displayed in the Tree.

When excluded objects (including elements of solids and surfaces) are included into calculation, the Tree appearance is restored. The objects are displayed in the graphic area.

If the Tree is a model structure, then all the excluded elements of solids and surfaces can be included into the calculation simultaneously. To do this, invoke the command Include in Calculation from the context menu of the group Include into Calculation or click the respective icon in the row of this group.
