You can extend a face of a surface or solid with compromised integrity beyond the specified edges — open edges. The extension of a surface is performed by changing the position of the specified borders or by creating new faces adjacent to the specified flanges. Faces are extended beyond the specified edges for a specified length or up to a specified point object. For a faceted surface, you can extend all or several selected faces at the same time.
