The Surface Extension 
command is used to extend the specified surface.
Step-by-step instructions
1.Select the surface flanges in the graphic area. If you need to extend a face or multiple faces of a surface beyond all its flanges, select the face or faces. Names of the flanges and faces is displayed in the Borders field on the Parameter Panel.
A phantom of the extension is displayed in the graphic area.
2.Select the faces extension type using the corresponding button in the Extension Type group:

3.In the Method elements group specify the method of extending the edges, by clicking the corresponding button, and set the required parameters, see the table.

For specified length |
Faces are extended beyond the selected flanges to the specified length. Set the extension in the Length field. |

To vertex |
Faces are extended beyond the selected flanges to the selected point object. The name of the selected object is displayed in the Vertex field. You can plot a point object using the Draw point command to the right of the Vertex field. This will start subprocess of plotting a point. |
4.You cat set the name of the surface extension operation and its display parameters using the Displaying group of controls in the Properties section on the Parameter Panel. Control of the color and optical properties of objects...
5.To complete the operation, click Create object

The selected surface is extended in the graphic area, and the corresponding icon appears in the Design Tree.
6.To complete operation of the command, click Finish 
.
Tips
•You can set extension of faces using a defining point.
•You can use the geometrical calculator.
•You can assign tolerances to the values of the operation parameters expressed in linear values. To do this, call the Tolerance command located in the desired parameter's menu, or click the
