Constituent parts of products and their properties

Scroll

Constituent parts of products can be created within documents as follows:

Automatically – when inserting into the document or creating an item with properties in it. These objects include:

in the assembly – the components of the first level and the solids,

in the drawing – macro-elements, fragment and view insertions from other drawings.

Objects with properties are the visual representation of the corresponding constituent parts in the document.

Manually – using the Add BOM object command. The data entered during the creation of the BOM item, for example, the designation and name, become the values of the corresponding properties of the constituent part. A manually created constituent part does not have a visual representation in the document.

Properties of the constituent parts of the product to which the document is issued can be viewed in a special mode of working with a document – in the subordinate mode of working with BOM items. In this mode, the properties of all constituent parts, both automatically generated and manually created, are displayed as BOM items on the screen. More details on the subordinate mode...

If an assembly is projected into an associative drawing, then by default the properties of the constituent parts of this assembly will be exported to it.
