Properties Created on the Basis of Variables |

In a model, a property can be created on the basis of a variable. The value of such a property is automatically changed when the variable value changes. And vice versa, if you edit the property value, then the variable value will also change, resulting in the model rebuilding.
You can create properties from all variables except for functional and interval variables (see section Functional and interval variables).
To create and add a property to a document from a variable, select the required variable in the Variables bar and run the Add to the Properties List command in the context menu. You will see a checkmark next to the command name. It means that the property from this variable was created in the document. Run this command again to delete this property.
The created property and its value appear in the list of the document properties. The property value type is determined automatically. The following types are possible:
•Real – for a property created from any variable except for an Exclude from Calculation parameter variable,
•Logic – for a property created from an Exclude from Calculation parameter variable.
You can view the list of properties created from variables in the Property Management dialog, see Figure. They are automatically added to the top of the list of local properties of the document. Names and comments of properties correspond to names and comments of variables in the Variables bar.

Properties created from variables in the Property Management dialog are only available for deletion. These properties cannot be edited, copied or moved. When you delete a property, the variable from which this property was created is not deleted. When you delete a variable, only the value of the property created from this variable is deleted. The property itself remains in the list of the document properties. You should delete properties manually in the Property Management dialog box or with the Add to the Properties List command (see above). |

To change values of properties created from variables, you can use the same methods as to change values of other properties of a document (for details, see Section Assigning "uncuttable" components when working with a model).
