If as a result of performing the operation Cut at least one new body is obtained, then after its completion the process Modifying a Set of Solids is launched.

For managing the set of bodies, the Leave all toggle switch of the Parameter Panel is used. By default, the toggle switch is set to position I (enabled). In this case the model keeps all solids resulting from cutting of the solid — their phantoms are displayed in the graphic area.

If it is required to change the set of solids, do the following.

1.Set the toggle switch Leave all to position 0 (disabled).
A field Solids to Keep with a list of solids obtained as a result of the section will appear on the Parameter Toolbar.

2.To remove a solid, select it in the list and click Delete on the right side of the field Solids to Keep or click on the desired solid with the mouse in the graphics area. The name of the solid will disappear from the list and its phantom will no longer be displayed in the graphic area.
If necessary, you can restore the deleted solid in the list. To do this, specify it again in the graphic area.

3.Upon completion of the list of solids settings, press the Create Object button. If no solids are left in the list, the button is unavailable.

If the Cut operation application area includes several solids, the list must contain at least one resulting solid for each of them. If you remove all resulting solids of a particular solid included in the application area, the Create object button becomes unavailable.

If a solid cannot be cut, you need to go back to the cutting operation and exclude this solid from the application area.

The excluded solids seem to be missing in the model: they are not displayed in the graphics area, cannot be used in the construction of other objects, are not taken into account when calculating the CMP, are not transferred to the associative model views and to the resulting files when exporting to other formats, etc.

However, information about excluded solids is not removed from the model file, due to which the set of solids can be changed later.

Use the Change the set of solids command to modify the set of solids left in the model. You can run this command in the Design tree in the context menu of the cutting operation that created the solids. The command starts the process of solid selection described above.
