Saving a model containing versions and/or variants |

saving a model, containing version and\/or options, is executed the same way as saving a model without them.
•When saving the model with versions/variants in the formats of KOMPAS-3D, data on all versions contained in it will be preserved.
•When saving the model with versions/variants using other formats, only the information on the current version/variant of the model will be preserved.
In addition, you can save any of the versions or variants in a separate file. Use the following procedure.
1.In the Tree of executions and variants, select the version or option that needs to be saved.
2.To do this, in the model tree toolbar, click Save version/variant as... 
or call the Save version as... command from the context menu for version and call Save option as... for a variant. The standard Save File dialog box will appear.
3.Specify the required file name and location and click Save.
Only the selected version/variant will be saved to the file. This version/variant will become the main model version.
