Editing Bend Parameters |
Scroll |
Bend editing means changing parameters of an individual bend included in the sheet element. This sheet element is a source object of the bend to be edited.
The parameters of each bend correspond to the parameters of its source object. Changing the bend parameters when editing the source object will result in rebuilding the bend according to the new parameter values.
When editing a bend, you can change the following parameters:
•the method for setting the radius,
•the radius value,
•the flat pattern length calculation method.
To edit the bend, do the following.
1.Select a bend in the Design Tree and run the Edit command from the bend context menu.
2.Set the By Source Object toggle switch to 0 (disabled).
3.Set new parameter values and finish editing by clicking the Create Object
button.
The bend will be rebuilt according to the new parameter values. The parameters of its source object will not change.
The bend for which determination of parameters by source object is disabled will retain its own parameters in the event if these parameters change for the source object.
Notes on Editing Bend Parameters
•You cannot change the value and the method for setting the bend radius if this bend belongs to a bend by sketch, to a sheet solid with an open sketch, to a shell ring or to a ruled shell ring, and corresponds to an arc in the sketch.
•You cannot select a method for setting the radius for bends of the shell ring and ruled shell ring.
•If the bend belongs to a sheet solid with an open sketch and corresponds to an arc in the sheet solid sketch, then the Radius parameter of this bend is not shown on the Variables toolbar. If the flat pattern length of such bend is defined by the table, the bend will not be displayed on the Variables toolbar even if determination of its parameters by source object is disabled.
•Bends for which determination of parameters by source object is disabled are displayed on the Variables toolbar as individual elements subordinate to their source object. Details...
