You can change the layer parameters in the Document Tree using commands of the context menu:
•Rename — after running the command, the layer name becomes available for editing. Enter a new name and press <Enter>. To rename the selected layer, you can also press <F2>.

You cannot rename a layer transferred from a model. Names of such layers start with the prefix "(c)". |
•Layer Number — after running the command, a dialog for layer number entry appears on the screen. Numbers of layers should be unique within one view of a drawing or one fragment.

You cannot change the number of a system layer. Its number is 0. |
•Layer Color — after running the command, a color selection dialog appears on the screen.

You can also run the Layer Number and Layer Color commands from the context menu of the field with the layer number and color in the Document Tree. |
