Changing the layer status |

Revision of the layer state is performed in the Document Tree.
The following methods are available.
•using fields:
•Active 
/Background 
,
•Visible 
/Extinguished 
,
• Printing allowed 
/ Printing prohibited 
,
In each of these fields, an icon showing the current status of a layer is displayed. To change the state, click the respective field in the line of the required layer. The state of layer will change. Also, the icon in the field will change.
•using commands of the context menu:
•Make background / Make active,
•Hide/Show,
•Enable printing/Disable printing.
To change a the layer state, invoke the required command from its context menu.

To quickly change the state of several layers or all layers at once, use the following methods: •select several layers before invoking a command (holding the <Ctrl> key, you can select layers from various views), •to invoke a command from the menu of the Layers group – the property will be changed in all the layers of a view or a tile. To have more options for selecting several layers, use sets of layers. |

State changing is possible for all layers, including the current one. However, change of the Activity and Visibility properties is not taken into account for the current layer as long as the layer is such as it is. Change of these properties starts being active when the layer ceases to be current. Enabling/disabling printing affects a layer regardless of whether it is current or not. |
