Transfer of layers from model into drawing |
Scroll |
The layers in the model can be transferred to the associative type of this model.
At the same time, projection layers are formed in the drawing, on each of them there are projections of those objects which are on the respective layer of the model. Apart from the layers, groups of layers and filters of layers are transferred if they were created in the model. For more details on layers in the model, see section Model layers.
Layers are transferred from the model into the associative drawing, if two conditions are met simultaneously:
•In the model, it is allowed to project the model layer into the drawing
(enabled by default for all layers created manually in the model); for more details on this setting, see section Layer status.
•In the drawing, the option Transfer layers is enabled in the Parameter Panel when creating standard or arbitrary view.
|
The Transfer layers option is also available when creating the views In Arrow Direction, Cut/Section, and the Projection view. |
|
If for any layer of the model, projection is disabled (the Projectability into drawing property is forbidden), then regardless the status of the Transfer layers option the projections of objects of this layer are missing in the drawing. |
The names of projection layers begin with the prefix "(s)".
On the projection layer, new objects can be built. Projection objects can be moved from the source layer to any other layer in the drawing.
During the work with projection layers, the following specialties should be considered.
•Properties of layers are transmitted into the drawing from the model as follows:
•the Visibility and Color of layers in the drawing fully conform to the similar properties of layers in the model,
•to the Edit property (allowed/forbidden) in the model there matches the Activity (active/background) property of a layer in the drawing.
•The values of properties in projection layers can be changed in the drawing.
•Change of properties of the existing layers in the model is not transferred into the drawing.
•Projection layers cannot be deleted from the drawing or renamed.
•During creation of the associative drawing of model, all the layers in it (including empty ones) are transferred into the drawing. The layers added further on are transferred into the drawing only if they contain newly created objects.
•Transfer of objects from one layer to another is not passed from model to the drawing.
•Deletion of an empty layer in the model is not transferred into the drawing. If the layer being deleted contains objects, then the projective layer conforming to it is automatically deleted from the drawing. Wherein:
•projections of model objects which are the deleted layer are deleted regardless of on what layer they are in the drawing,
•if on the projection layer of the drawing conforming to the layer being deleted there lies an object transferred from another layer (i.e. this object in model lies on another layer), then it is automatically transferred to its "own" layer,
•if there are objects on the projection layer that are not of projection type, they are automatically transferred to the system layer of the drawing view.
