Mark/reference designation – General settings |

General settings of marks/reference designations for the current graphic document are made in the General settings dialog, invoked by the command Settings — Parameters... — Current drawing/fragment — Designations for construction — Mark/Positional annotation — General settings.
The dialog allows to set a separator – one or several symbols between the mark text and its number, as well as to enable auto numbering. The configured settings belong to the following subgroups (see section Types of object parameters:
•Separator between the brand name and its number – to subgroup 1.1,
•Automatic numbering – to subgroup 1.2.
Enter symbols into the Separator between the brand name and its number field. Maximum number of symbols – three. These characters will be automatically inserted between the mark designation and its number. If one of the elements – designation of mark or its number – is missing, then the separator is not displayed. In the table for entry of the text of mark/reference designation (see section Input of text of mark/positional designationThe text of the stamp is displayed together with the separator.

Enable the Automatic numberingoption so that during creation of each new mark a next immediate vacant number be automatically assigned to it. Autonumbering works for marks with identical text designation. Type of mark – with leader line, on the line or without leader line – does not matter.
On completion of the set-up, press the OKbutton. Click Cancel to discard all changes and close the dialog box.
