Selection of detailing for the first sheet and all newly added sheets of a graphic document is performed in the Detailing dialog, invoked by the command Setup — Parameters… — Current drawing — First sheet parameters — Detailing.

A similar dialog is used for the following processes:

selecting a BOM style: in this case, the dialog is invoked by the Settings — Parameters... — Current BOM specification — Style command,

Selecting the detailing of the first and subsequent pages of a text document section (separately even and odd): in this case, the dialog is summoned using the Detailing Parameters... command from the section's context menu in the Document Tree.

Document layouts and BOM styles are stored in special system libraries – files with the *.lyt extension. Dialog controls allow to select a library file and a detailing (style) from it.

Description of setting

Uniform detailing

This option is provided in the dialog box for selecting sheet detailing for a text document.

It allows to apply a uniform detailing to all sheets of the selected section. If the option is enabled, then instead of several groups for selection of detailing for the first one separately, all even and all odd sheets, there is one group of selection of detailing for all the sheets of the section.

Library

The field is used to display the full library file name – *.lyt.

Show Library

The button allows to select the required file of the library of layouts (styles) in a standard file selection dialog. After selection of the library, the screen displays a dialog showing the list of layouts (styles) contained in it. Specify the required detailing (style). Its name will appear in the Namefield, and the full name of selected library – in the Library field.

Name

The field is used to display the name of the detailing assigned to the sheet (the style assigned to the BOM).

The detailing, embedded into the current drawing, may differ from the corresponding detailing in the *.lyt library (differences may arise, for instance, after editing the library). In this case, the "asterisk" (*) is displayed prior to the drawing detailing name.

Select

The button allows to select another detailing (style) from the current detailing (style) library.

After pressing the button, the screen displays a dialog showing the list of layouts (styles) contained in the current library. Specify the required detailing (style) and press the Apply button.

Clear

The button allows to disable the current detailing library (styles). At the same time, the Library and Name fields are cleared.

A document without detailing has no frame and the title block.

A BOM without a style cannot exist, so in the dialog for selection of the BOM style Clear button is absent.

Reread

Allows to reread the detailing if it differs from that in the library. After pressing this button, the sheet will be assigned a detailing from the library, the "asterisk" before the detailing name will disappear.

It is available if the detailing (style) of the document differs from the corresponding detailing (style) in the *.lyt. library.

Update according to the library

Allows you to update the BOM style. Only those parameters change, which are available when editing the BOM style, but are unavailable when editing the current BOM. More details about updating style...

The button is available if the option is disabled. Automatic update of BOM style.

On completion of the set-up, press the OKbutton. Click Cancel to discard all changes and close the dialog box.
