Updating and Style Rereading |

Updating the style is a partial modification of the embedded style in the document according to the style, the number, and the path to the library of which are stored in this document. In the result, in the embedded style, only those parameters are changed that are available when configuring BOM style, but not available when configuring current BOM. But the other parameters, i.e. those that can be changed when configuring the current specification, remain as before. For example, after creating the BOM, zone calculation was enabled in it, while data reading from the title block for section Details was disabled in the BOM style. After updating the style, the calculation of zones in this specification will remain, but filling the BOM items in the Details section with data from connected documents will become impossible.
Overwriting a style is a complete replacement of a style embedded in the document with a style whose number and library path are stored in this document. That is, in the example given above, the result of rereading the style will be the disabling in the BOM of both zone calculation and reading data from the main title in the Details section.

When updating or re-reading the BOM style, the detailing used in it is automatically re-read (along with the title blocks included in them) for the first and subsequent sheets. Re-reading the detailings separately from the style is not possible. |
The automatic update of the BOM style recorded in the document when opening this document is supported. To do this, the Automatically update the specification style option must be enabled in the dialog Update document format settings. By default, automatic style updates are enabled.
If automatic updating is disabled, style updates can be performed manually. Style rereading is always done manually.
To update the current BOM style, do any of the following actions:
•call the Management – Reread Style command,
•invoke the Settings — Parameters — Current BOM — Style command, and in the right part of the appeared dialog, click Update according to library.
To review the style of the current BOM, do any of the following actions:
•In the Specifications Tree, expand the Main Sheets section, on any sheet call the BOM style command from the context menu and in the appearing dialog press the Reread button,
•Invoke the Settings — Parameters — Current BOM — Style command, in the right part of the dialog box that appears, click the Select button, and in the subsequent dialog box, click the Reread button.
