Object properties for a part or an assembly are set in the command Object Properties dialog, which is invoked by the Setup – Parameters... — Current part/assembly — Properties of objects.
The dialog allows for setting the color of image of various objects.

List of elements |
The list contains all object types of model. Near the element name, an icon conforming to it in the Design Tree is shown. To change the color of display of elements of a certain type, select its name. |

Use part’s (assembly) color |
Enable this option if all the objects of the selected type should be displayed in the color of a part (assembly). Disable this option, if the color of the objects of a selected type must differ from the color of a part (assembly). |

Color |
Press this button to set the color of objects of a selected type. The button is available in the dialog, if the Use part’s color option is disabled. |

Advanced |
Press this button to select the optical properties of the surface of objects of a selected type. The button is available in the dialog during setup of all the objects having surface, if the Use part’s color option is disabled. |

Defaults |
Press this button if it is required to restore the default color for all types of objects. |

Preview Window |
Changes in the setting of display for model objects are displayed in the preview window. This allows for visually estimating the changes made. Preview windows are available in the dialog, if the option Use part (assembly) color is disabled. |

Having set the parameters of object imagery, press the OK button. Click Cancel to discard all changes and close the dialog box.
