The setup for dimension rendering for the current graphical document is performed in the Options of Dimensioning dialog, which is invoked using the Setup — Parameters... command. — Current drawing/fragment — Dimensions — Parameters.

A similar dialog is used to set up drawing model dimensions.

The dialog allows to configure the geometrical parameters of dimensions: a jut of the extension line outside the dimensional line, the length and angle of arrow, the distance from the extension line to the text, etc. The configurable parameters pertain to subgroup 1.1 (see section ...). Types of object parameters).

For more convenience, an explanatory figure is included into the dialog.

Enter the required values of parameters into the fields of the dialog, or select them from the dropdown lists. The entered values will be added into the lists and saved during the running session of KOMPAS-3D.

The setting applies to the following document objects having arrows or obliques in their structure:

•dimensions of all types,

•geometric tolerance designations,

•surface finish designation on the leader landing.

Upon completion of setting up the options of dimensioning, press the OK button. Click Cancel to discard all changes and close the dialog box.
