Parameters of surface finish designation for the current graphic document are configured in the dialog Options of Surface Finish Symbol, invoked by the command Setup — Parameters... — Current drawing/fragment — Designations for mechanical engineering — Roughness.
A similar dialog is used to set up options of surface finish designations in models.

The group of options allows to select the structure of surface finish designation. On change of this setting for the current document, all the surface finish designations available in it are re-designed. Therefore, to edit a drawing whose surface finish designations conform to the previous edition of GOST 2.309-73, it is necessary to open this drawing, change the setting of surface finish designations, and to save it. |

Text parameters |
The group of elements allows to configure the text in surface finish designations – to enter the required line pitch (in millimeters) and set the font parameters. |

The filling of arrows and thickness of the oblique line (for the surface finish designation on the landing) follows the setting done for the sizes. |

The setting of text done in this dialog extends to the surface finish designations labeled on the images of surfaces. Setup of the text for majority surface finish is performed in the section Document Parameters – Majority Surface Finish of the current and new drawings setup dialog (see section). Majority surface finish — Text). |
Upon completion of setting up the parameters of surface finish display, press the OK button. Click Cancelto discard all changes to the settings and exit the dialog.
