Scroll |
Setting up the display of definite points is performed in the Defining points dialog. The dialog appears on the screen after fetching the Settings — Parameters... — System — Graphic Editor — Characteristic points command.
The Defining points dialog contains:
•The field Number of selected objects for displaying defining points, max
The field is used to indicate the maximum number of objects on simultaneous selection of which their definite points are displayed. The number of selected objects is set within the range from 0 to 100.
If the number of selected objects exceeds the set value, then their definite points are not displayed. Thus, if we enter 0, then definite points will never be displayed.
•The option Display only common characteristic points for the selected group of objects
If the option is enabled, then the screen displays only those defining points which are the common for selected objects.
If the option is disabled, then all defining points of the selected objects are displayed on the screen.
•Group of variants Defining points of captions
Elements of group allow to set the number of definite points for the movement of a text caption. For that, select one of the suggested variants.
|
The required number of definite points depends on the tasks being solved. For example, if it is required to locate texts in the center of circles or polygons, select variant 2. Besides, if it is required to align the text by the midpoint of rectangle side, select variant 3. |
Having completed setup of displaying definite points, press the OK button. Click Cancel to discard all changes and close the dialog box.
