Bitmap display quality |
Affects the quality of presentation of the inserted bitmap images and the speed of redrawing a document containing such insertions when zooming, shifting, etc. •Standard quality (default value) - optimal for most systems and most cases of raster image insertions. Provides good display quality for insertions and good performance. •Low quality — improves system performance when there are slowdowns while working with a document containing many inserts of "heavy" (i.e., large in size and/or high resolution) bitmap images. In this case, the presentation of bitmap images in the document may deteriorate: reduced clarity, loss of fine details or fine lines. •High quality — choosing this option is justified if the overwhelming majority of documents created and edited at this workstation do not cause performance issues, and also if it is necessary to achieve the highest possible quality of display for all raster images inserted into the documents. |

|
File type when editing |
The dropdown list allows to select a format in which the graphic information should be represented during editing. |
|
According to Windows-registered file type |
Enable this option so that a software program mapped in Windows to the type of file selected from the File type when editing list be started up. |
|
Other |
Enable this option to select other software program for editing figures. The full path to the file of the software program is displayed in the view field. To choose a different program, press the button with dots to the right of the field. The indicated software program should support the type of files selected in the File type when editing list. |
|
Save original bitmap resolution |
Enable this option so that change of the figure resolution would be ignored as a result of editing. Owing to that, the size of the figure after editing will remain the same as before editing. Some programs, for example, MSPaint, which do not provide data on resolution while saving images (on insertion of such images into a KOMPAS document, their resolution can be set arbitrarily) automatically assign a certain resolution to them. |
To complete the setup, press the OK button. Click Cancelto discard all changes to the settings and exit the dialog.
