Adding multiple components |

To speed up the process of inserting components into an assembly, you can specify multiple models at once when Select a model to insert Select several models at once. The required models are indicated in the file selection dialog while pressing the <Shift> or <Ctrl> key. Similarly specify multiple components when Select a model to insert from the Windows Explorer.
Full names of all specified models are displayed in the Component source file list in the main section of the Parameter Panel. The graphics area displays a phantom for the model which is the first on the list.

Working with the selected models list
You can edit the list of selected models by adding and removing objects from the list.
•To add models to the list, press the Add Files button
next to the list and select the models you need in the file selection dialog that appears on the screen.
If any of the selected models is already in the list, it is not added.
•To remove a model from the list, select it in the list and press the Delete
button. Removal is available if the list contains more than one model.
If necessary, you can select other models instead of those in the list. To do this, click the list name and select the models you need in the file selection dialog that appears on the screen. The names of the models in the list will be replaced by the names of the newly selected models.

Please note that you cannot reselect only one of the models contained in the list. When you select models again, the list will be regenerated. |
If the model selected in the list contains version and/or additional numbers, you can select the desired version/additional number using the corresponding Parameter Toolbar lists. These lists are displayed below the Component source file list.
Inserting the selected models
The selected models are inserted into the assembly sequentially.
To insert one of the models, select it from the list, set the insertion parameters and complete the insertion by clicking the Create Object
button.
After the insertion, the command does not finish working. All models, including the inserted one, remain in the list. The following model becomes selected, its phantom appears in the graphics area.
You can:
•insert the selected model into an assembly,
•insert another model from the list into an assembly,
•perform one more insertion of the model already inserted.
During insertion of components you can Switch between the insertion types. In this case, the list of selected models is saved. When switching the type to a mockup. If not the entire list is transferred, but only one model selected in the list. When you switch back, the list contents is restored.
Insert all the necessary models as components of the assembly and complete the operation by pressing the Finish
