Changing the version of the component model |
Scroll |
If a model is inserted into the assembly with versions, the geometry and properties of the component correspond to the version selected during insertion.
You can select another version of the model, if needed. To do this, from the context menu of the component in the Design Tree, call the Current Execution command and specify the needed execution in the appeared list.
All versions of the model are available for selection, regardless of whether the component retains the link with the source or not.

A model with configurations imported from SolidWorks (*.sldprt, *.sldasm) can be inserted as a component into the assembly. Model configurations are transferred to a KOMPAS document as versions. •If the component retains connection to its source, you can select any of the model configurations. The selected configuration will be imported into the assembly from the source. •If the link of the component with its source is disabled, you can select one of those configurations that have been selected before disabling the link (the selected configurations are imported into the assembly and stored in it). The remaining configurations are not available for import though their names are contained in the list of versions. |
