At any stage of construction of a model you can delete its part. The cutting border may be an arbitrarily shaped surface or a surface formed by extrusion of a sketch. An example of cutting off a part of the model is shown in the figure.

The surface used for cutting may belong either to the model itself or to any of its components. If the cutting is performed using a sketch, then the sketch should belong to the model itself. |
