Boolean operations are merging, intersection and subtraction of solids. Solids involved in an operation may belong both to the model itself and to its components. The result of a Boolean operation is a new solid belonging to the current model. Later, you can apply any operations to it, including Boolean operations. The solids involved in the Boolean operation can be kept or removed from the model.
Boolean operation examples are shown in the figure.
