Results of checking for collisions |
Scroll |
When collisions are detected, a phantom intersection area/gap area/tangent line appears in the graphic area and information about collisions is displayed in the Results table on the Parameter Panel.
Table rows contain the following data:
•number,
•name of the first object,
•name of the second object,
•collision type (Intersection, Tangency, Clearance or Threads),
•value.
The contents of the column Value depend on the collision type. It may display the value of the intersection area volume, the gap length or the type of the threaded joint error.
The data in the table can be sorted by columns. To select a column for sorting, click the column name. A triangle will appear next to the name. It shows the direction of sorting. If the vertex of the triangle is directed downwards, then the list is sorted in the descending order of values in this column, and if directed upwards, the list is sorted in the ascending order.
When the row is selected in the list, the phantom corresponding to the collision is highlighted in the graphic area. You can zoom in the collision objects by clicking the Scale by selected objects
above the table.
If no collisions are detected, a message about this appears in the Results table in the Parameters Panel, and in the graphic area.
Results of checking for collisions can be displayed in the Information window, see the section below.
