When you unfold bends of a sheet part to the given plane, the derivative dimensions remain in their current planes. This is the reason why some dimensions in the flat pattern are displayed separately from the objects they are labeled to. In addition, the model may contain other objects based on folded sheet elements, which cannot be rebuilt on unfolded elements. For example, a point built in the center of an arc edge that has become straight, the axis of a cylindrical face of the bend, etc.
If necessary, you can configure the flat pattern mode so that when it is enabled, some objects are automatically hidden. To do this, use the controls in the Hiding Objects section.
To specify the objects to be hidden, click in the Objects field, then specify the desired objects in the graphics area or in the Design Tree. Names of the selected objects will appear in the Objects field.
Dimensions can be determined automatically. To do this, use the Autoselection button
to the right of the Objects field. Clicking this button will automatically select all dimensions which "lost touch" with their objects. The selected items will be highlighted in the graphic area, and their names will appear in the Objects field.
When a sheet part is displayed in expanded view, the objects included in the hidden list will not be displayed on the screen. After disabling the flat pattern mode, the visibility of objects returns to the state it used to be when that mode was enabled.
