Isolating components |
Scroll |
KOMPAS-3D allows you to keep user-selected components visible, while hiding the other components. To do this, use the Isolation mode for objects.
You can isolate not only separate components of an assembly but also component arrays (the source component and its copies remain visible) and matings (only components involved in the mating remain visible). Besides, isolation is available for solids and surfaces belonging either to the model itself or to any component.
In isolation mode, you can create new objects, add components, and enable other special modes (for example, component spreading mode, contextual editing mode, etc.). If required, while this mode is enabled you can add new objects to isolated or exclude objects from isolation.
After you exit the isolation mode, visibility of objects is restored.
