Linear Dimension from Line to Point |

You can use a dimension from line to point to set the distance dimension between two parallel segments. Besides, the Linear Dimension from Line to Point, creation of such a dimension is available using the Smart Dimension.
If the dimension is created in parametric mode, then the Parallelism constraint is automatically applied to the segments, ensuring the parallelism of the segments even after changing the size value. Note the following: a constraint will be applied if any point on a segment is specified, except for the characteristic points — vertex or midpoint. If you specify a characteristic point, the dimension is created without applying the Parallelism constraint to the segments.
When you delete the linear dimension between parallel segments, the Parallelism constraint applied to the segments is not deleted.
