Results of measurement of mutual deviation of two objects are displayed in the table located in the Results group on the Parameters Panel. In the table, the first sought minima and maxima and the absolute minimum between objects are placed. A table row corresponds to each measurement result. In the columns contain the following data:
•No. — ordinal number of the measurement,
•Value — measured distance,
•Type — type of deviation,
•U, %, V, % — parameters U and V of the extremum on the surface or the parameter U of the point on the curve,
•X, Y, Z — X, Y, and Z coordinates of the extremum on the object from which the measurement was taken, in the absolute CS.
When a row is selected in the table, the corresponding measurement line is highlighted in the graphic area.
The measurement results can be displayed in Information window. To do this, click the Show in the information window button
in the header of the Results table. The button is available if the table has at least one row.
The following measurement results are displayed in the Information window:
•Number of measurement points,
|
The number of measurements may differ from the specified number of points. For example, measurement is not performed if the measurement line does not intersect the second object. |
•Absolutely minimal distance between objects,
•Minimum distance between objects at measurement points,
•Maximum distance between objects at measurement points,
•The arithmetic average of the distances at the measurement points,
|
The point of measurement of the absolute minimum may differ from the points of a given set. |
•The specified number of measurement results closest to the minimum distance (the first required minimums),
•The specified number of measurement results closest to the maximum distance (the first sought highs).
For each measurement from the first sought lows and highs, the following data is displayed:
•measured distance,
•coordinates of the measurement point on the first and second objects,
•arithmetic average of the distance.
If distance measurement is performed in both directions, an arrow is displayed at the beginning of each line containing the measurement results, indicating the direction of measurement. The forward direction is marked with a left arrow, the reverse direction is indicated with a right arrow.
If the display of the full set of measurement results is selected during the command execution (the Information Format section has the Brief option disabled), the coordinates of the measurement points and the measured distance will be displayed for all measurements. If this option is enabled, only the first sought minimums and maximums will be shown.

In case of re-measurement in the current session of the command the results of the previous measurement in the Information window will be replaced with new results and will not be saved. In order not to lose the measurement results, save them to a file on disk using the commands of the Information window menu. |
To close the Information window, press the Close
. The measurement command does not finish working in this case.
To complete operation of the command, click Finish
