You can perform various operations with the majority surface finish designation: edit, reposition, and delete.
Editing majority surface finish
To edit the parameters of majority surface finish, double-click the symbol in its designation or select the designation and call Edit
from the context menu. Will start process of setting up parameters unspecified surface finish.
Unspecified surface finish is transmitted in the version of the model. In a independent version it can be edited.
In a dependent version, the parameters of majority surface finish are not editable; they change only when the surface finish parameters in the basic version are changed. This link can be broken by calling the Cancel link command from the majority surface finish designation context menu. To restore the link, call the Restore link command from the context menu.
Changing the position of majority surface finish
To change the position of the designation of majority surface finish in the graphic area, select the designation, call the context menu and select the desired command from the submenu of the Location command. The following options are available:
•Top left,
•Top right,
•Bottom right.
Deleting unspecified surface finish
To delete the designation of the majority surface finish, select the designation in the graphic area and invoke the delete command in one of the following ways:
•select Delete in the Edit menu,
•call the Delete command from the context menu,
•press <Delete>.
After calling the command, the Delete majority surface finish dialog will appear on the screen. You may confirm the deletion, or cancel it.
