Majority Surface Finish

Scroll

The model may contain the majority surface finish designation. This designation includes a sign, a surface finish parameter and its value, and a sign in parentheses (if necessary).

To set a majority surface finish and to manage its display in the graphic area of the model, use the Majority Surface Finish command .

When you first run the Majority Surface Finish command (while the majority surface finish is not set yet), it starts the process of setting majority surface finish parameters. After the process is completed, the designation of majority surface finish with the specified parameters appears in the graphic area of the model.

Further the Majority Surface Finish command is used only to enable/disable the display of the majority surface finish designation in the graphic area.

If the model has versions, you can enable or disable the display of the majority surface finish designation for each of them.

If necessary, you can change the position of the majority surface finish designation, edit or delete it. Details...

Majority surface finish is exported to the associative drawing. After being exported to the drawing, it becomes part of the drawing and can be arbitrarily edited and moved in it. You can synchronize the data of the majority surface finish in the model and drawing.
