Partial and Simplified |

Partial and Simplified load types mean that data from the component file is not extracted completely. These load types reduce the time it takes to open the assembly and improve system performance when working with it, while the assembly looks almost the same in the graphical area as if its components were loaded completely.
With the Simplified load type, only the triangulation of bodies and surfaces is loaded from the component file. This information only allows you to create a visual image of the component, so this type of component loading is recommended for viewing assemblies. If the component is placed in the model using the method By matings, then after applying the Simplified load type to it, the component is fixed in its current position (the icon appears in the Build Tree next to the component icon
).
With the Partial load type, bodies and surfaces are loaded from the component file. Therefore, operations such as chamfers and holes can be applied to partially loaded components; constraints can also be applied to them. Automatic application to components with the Full load type does not occur in this case.
In the model's graphic area, only bodies and surfaces are displayed for components that have been loaded in simplified and partial mode. They look almost the same as those that have been loaded completely. In the Design tree, Partial and Simplified load types are displayed with corresponding icons:
— Partial,
— Simplified.
When a component is loaded in simplified or partial mode, its functionality is limited. For example, it is not possible to view the component-part composition tree. If the component is a subassembly, only its constituent components are visible; other subassembly objects are not displayed in the tree. The remaining limitations are described in the section Notes of components with partial load

If the assembly and/or its components were created in KOMPAS-3D version 17 or earlier, then to achieve the maximum effect from using the load types Simplified and Partial, all these models need to be saved in the current version of KOMPAS-3D. |
