With an Size load type, minimum data are extracted from the component file. You will not be able to view the component contents in the Design tree, and only a bounding box of the component is displayed in a graphic area.
In the assembly Design tree, the load type Dimension is displayed with an icon 
.

The list of subassembly components is transferred to the model when Tree branches are expanded. And only the amount of data that corresponds to the branch being expanded is loaded. This requires less computer resources and «eases» the assembly. |

Load type Gabarit is recommended if the overall dimensions of the component are needed and viewing the appearance is not required.
In the Design tree, this type of loading is shown by the icon .
If a component is placed in the model using By matings method, then after applying to it the Dimensions load type, the component is fixed in its current position (in the Design tree the icon appears next to the component icon 
).

The list of model objects, by which its overall parallelepiped is formed, can be set. However, if there are no bodies or surfaces in the model, all other objects included in the dimension are ignored, i.e. the parallelepiped is not built. |
