When the Empty component is loaded, it is not loaded, i.e. it is not visible in the graphic area. It is visible only in the assembly tree.

You cannot view the composition of a component part. If the component is a subassembly, the composition of its components can be viewed. Other subassembly objects are not shown in the Tree.

The list of subassembly components is transferred to the model when Tree branches are expanded. And only the amount of data that corresponds to the branch being expanded is loaded. This requires less computer resources and «eases» the assembly.

For other limitations of working with incompletely loaded components, see Features of partially loaded components.

In the Design tree, the Empty load type is shown by the icon .

If a component is placed in the model using By matings method, then after the Empty component load type is applied to it, it is fixed in its current position (the icon appears in the Design tree next to the component icon ).
